Smita Mehta, PT DPT PRPC is a physical therapist at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas.Smita completed her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Mumbai University and She finished her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Health Science Center in 2014. Under the guidance of Dr. Nayak, she completed her Ashtanga Yoga Teacher’s training in 2019 and actively uses it in her clinical practice. She practiced at Beaumont Hospital, University of Michigan Health System, and UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. Smita has practiced pelvic floor rehabilitation for over 12 years and received the National Certification for Pelvic Rehabilitation Practice in 2019. She is also certified in pelvic oncology rehab and postpartum corrective exercises. She was recently a speaker IAP 2023 and participated in pre-conference workshops.
