About Her....
Dr. Bharati Vijay Bellare is an Ex-Professor and Head, Department of Physiotherapy Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, where she had worked for 38 years and after superannuation, joined MGM School of Physiotherapy, Navi Mumbai as Professor. She holds BSc (PT) degree (1970) from Mumbai University and PhD degree (2003) from Manipal University. Her 41 years of academic experience includes 36 years as PG Teacher and Guide for the Masters program in Physiotherapy, and as PhD Guide since 2010 to till date. Her professional portfolios include-Member of Central Executive Council, IAP (1992-2002) including a position as President (1998-2000) during which she represented India at the conference of World Confederation for Physiotherapy (WCPT) (1999) at Yokohama, Japan. She has authored numerous scientific publications in the perr reviewed national and international journals. She is the author of "Textbook of Preventive Practices and Community Physiotherapy".
